HOLI HUNGAMA 2064
Once again this year Holi was celebrated by KANTIPUR FM in a big way. This year the Event was staged in an empty swimming pool with about 3 feet of water in the deep end. People from all walks of life could be seen enjoying the One and a Half hour musical extravaganza with live DJ music. Celebrities and different media personalities were all there at the bash mingling with fans and friends. As always we proved to everyone that anything "BIG and Wild" it's got to be Only...."RADIO KANTIPUR - RADIO RASHTRA KO"

This Year our Anniversary was "Bigger, Better and Broader". You can officially listen to us in these following areas Kathmandu 96.1 Mhz / Bhedetar 96.1 Mhz / Bharatpur 961. CHANGA CHAIT 2064
Kantipur FM 96.1 has been having this Annual Event for nearly a decade. On the Auspicious Occasion of Dashain all the KFM staff go on to the roof and fly Kites. The kites are full of great gifts, so if you find one of our kites you could get these gifts. This Event is held specially to keep the Tradition of Flying Kites during Dashain Alive. Tashi Lakpa Sherpa the Music Ambassador of Kantipur FM 96.1 scaled EVEREST for the record fourth time. Tashi Lakpa Sherpa also happens to be the youngest climber without oxygen in the world and interestingly he released his latest music album from Top of the World. read more click here |
